Bass Lessons
Our bass instructors teach a variety of styles including rock, jazz, blues, metal, country, bluegrass, and folk. Bass lessons are offered on electric or acoustic instruments. Students should bring their bass to class each week. All levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced, ages 6 to Adult.

We teach all styles, from rock, pop, jazz, and blues to metal, country – on electric and acoustic basses.
How qualified are your bass instructors?
Our bass instructors bring many years of teaching and performance experience to their lessons, along with college studies in music. They are all highly knowledgeable in music theory, and are well-versed in teaching and performing a variety of styles. Our teachers love helping students of all ages and levels to reach their goals on the guitar or bass. All instructors have the minimum qualifications for families to receive scholarship reimbursement from PEP, UA/FES, and many others.
What will I learn from bass lessons at Creative Keys Music School?
Beginner bass students can expect to work on simple songs, bass line construction, how to play with a drummer, sight reading, hand technique and theory. Our instructors balance musicianship and fun! Teachers use a variety of methods from well-known music publishers to help students learn and practice the basics while learning new skills on a weekly basis.
Do I need to purchase a bass to learn the instrument?
Yes, you will need to purchase an instrument to bring to class and to practice on at home. Your instructor can make recommendations on an instrument to buy, either locally or from a trusted online source.
